Discipleship Team
This Team will provide training and resources which will lead to the spiritual growth and development of church members and leaders in all areas of Christian life. Particular emphasis shall be given to Sunday School, Discipleship Training, Media Centers and Stewardship.
Mission Team
This Team will endeavor to enable churches to strengthen their commitment to Biblical evangelism and missions outreach. In evangelism they will encourage churches to give priority to evangelism in their particular area. Emphasis will also be given to priority missions opportunities in the NPBA area. Mission development will include such areas as Student Ministries, African American Ministries, Baptist Men's Ministry and Women on Mission.
Ministry Team
This Team will provide support and training to enable pastors, church staff and church leaders to develop a more effective ministry. They shall concern themselves with Pastoral Ministries (deacon ministry, vocational guidance, church administrative services, Christian week-day education, etc.), Family Ministry, Counseling Ministry, Youth Ministry, Community Ministry (Caring Centers, Multi Housing and Christian Women's Job Corp).
Fellowship Team
This Team will provide a deliberate jeans of strengthening fellowship among the various groups within NPBA and enhancing mutual care. They shall seek to build a base of understanding of the perspectives, opportunities, needs and aspirations of the various church and auxiliary groups. Emphasis will be given to establishing a network of relationships through which churches mutually give and get assistance and encouragement.
Association Planning Team
This Team is the key leadership team that coordinates the overall program of the Association. This team harmonizes all the resources of the Association so that it can fulfill its mission more faithfully, effectively and efficiently. This team is composed of Team Leaders and becomes a vehicle through the Associational Missionary provides leadership the Program Leadership Teams. This Team shall plan and conduct the Annual Meeting of the Association. They shall also assist the Association in determining long-range strategic objectives and staying the course in achieving them.
